Matilde Cafe has a main part of the coffee shop, which is mostly where you’ll find packs of profitable digital nomads pouring over their laptops. But, if you head further back into the cafe, you’ll find a private patio. 

The patio is stunning, with twinkling fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. The entire place is covered in greenery, with potted plants filling each corner. The patio actually opens up on a garden, so you’ll really feel like you’re in a forested hideaway. 

Matilde Cafe has tons of different food options, with everything ranging from boozy brunches to cozy cups of mulled wine paired with tasty pastries. Or, you can serve your guests something heartier by going for their succulent sandwiches and burgers.

Búho Parrilla Entre Pinos

Búho Parilla Entre Pino is a countryside dining option that feels a bit more like camping than going out to dinner. 

The restaurant features private kiosks, each featuring its own grill. There, you can either grill your own meat or have someone do it for you. 

If you go for the serviced route, you can pick from some tasty meat platters offered by the restaurant. And of course, if you just want to have a casual cookout, that’s an option too.

The Marquee

The Marquee is a hotel, sure, but it’s also got an incredible Italian restaurant attached to it. The restaurant is an amazing place to wine and dine your best friends while you celebrate your recent engagement.

Casa M Libre

Casa M Libre is rustic and feels super traditional. Plus, thanks to its location in Rio Negro, which is a bit outside of the city, it’s got some great views. 

Although the restaurant is a little ways out of Medellin, it’s definitely worth it if you want to have a fantastic engagement celebration.

All the food grown is grown on the restaurant’s Casa M farm, located in El Tablazo. The farm is just 30 minutes from Medellín, so you know it’s coming to your table fresh!

The restaurant has an extensive wine menu and can offer up good pairing suggestions as well. That’s ideal for toasting to the bride and groom to be.

Vivante Cocina

If you want a totally different type celebration, Vivante might be a good pick. Personally, I think this is an excellent place for an engagement party because you can host a classy brunch complete with mimosas and French toast.

Vivante has a sweet little enclosed patio which is perfect for sitting down with your besties. It’s a slightly more formal setting, but it really does look perfect. 

On top of that, Vivante has some good recommendations for floral arrangements. Of course, they’ll take care of the food, but you can work with them to pick the perfect menu.
