Back when I lived in the United States, I hardly ever got a facial. They were too expensive, too time-consuming, and frankly, seemed unnecessary.
But, in Colombia, it’s a whole different story. Here in Medellin, getting regular facial cleanings is considered part of dermatology care – it’s something you should do just as often as you’d get a dental cleaning, for example!
Better yet, as with most things in Medellin, the price of a facial cleaning is about a third of the cost of what it was back home for me.
So, if you want to jump onboard the facial train, keep reading. Here are all the best places to get a facial in Medellin.
Sol y Color has more than 8 years of experience in skincare, and they specialize in facials. They’re situated in cozy barrio Manila, which puts them right next door to Casacol’s newest property: the Landmark hotel.
Sol y Color has five different facial packages you can choose from, all of which are well worth looking into.
Their basic facial, despite not having some of the extras that the other packages have, is more than enough, and it’s pretty affordable, too.
The package includes an LED wand, extractions, a face mask, exfoliation, diamond-tip micro-exfoliation, and more. Just be prepared to be there for a while – the treatment takes two hours!

Celestino Spa has multiple facial treatments and scrubs available to choose from
At Celestino every session starts pampering you up with a cup of herbal tea so you truly start feeling that relaxation vibe.
The Facial Relaxation Treatment is the most complete and why not price convenient in Poblado. A 45 minutes of soft massages with cleansing and moisturizing products that I have to say are the best quality I’ve received.
You can visit Celestino Spa from Monday to Monday at the first level of the Celestino Hotel in Provenza.

Buckle up, because the list of facial treatments at Zahía is about as long as it gets.
Zahia is an esthetic center that offers both plastic surgery procedures and non-invasive treatments. In terms of facial procedures, they offer:

I wasn’t brave enough to try anything past the Dermapen treatment, but what I did try I liked. And, I found that the space was super clean and relatively affordable, which made me feel at ease.

At the Bella Vie center, you’ll find that they’re focused on plastic surgery. Now, while there’s nothing wrong with getting a bit of work done, if you’re just looking for a facial, they’ve still got a few minimal treatments.
The real reason I included Bella Vie on my list is that they offer something called a Nano Pore treatment. Basically, this is a type of facial that reduces your pore size.
They also offer Facial Porcelain treatments. This treatment, like the nano pore treatment, helps reduce your pore size. However, it also has the added bonus of stimulating collagen production and removing outer, dead skin.
They’re both worth trying, especially if you’re new to the world of facials.

5 Elements Spa is a much more casual venue than some of the other spas on this list. But, that said, they still do a great job.
They have a couple of different treatments on offer, including:
The best treatment they offer is their Express Facial. This facial is half the time of a deep cleaning but still leaves your pores feeling as good as new.
It includes a mask, exfoliation, moisturizer, and SPF treatment. The only things it really leaves out are the microdermabrasion and the extractions.

Another Poblado haunt, Ciel Spa has a couple of great treatments on their list. I’m a big fan of their oily skin and acne saponification. This treatment gets rid of excess oils on your skin and includes extractions, too.
What’s great about is that even though it’s designed to leave your skin oil-free, they still moisturize afterward. That way, your skin stays soft and hydrated but without any of the pore-clogging sebum you had before.
Another treatment that’s worth trying is their facial cleaning with ultrasonic peeling. This is a chemical peel that actually gets rid of the top layer of dead skin, helping boost collagen production and reduce wrinkles.
If you just want a classic facial or hydrafacial, those are, of course, options as well.

Located in the Santafe shopping center in Medellín, Naturalness offers you quite a few different services.
For one thing, there’s the Hyaluronic acid treatment. This facial procedure helps to replenish the natural hyaluronic acid that is lost over the years, giving volume and shape to the face. The treatment lasts about an hour.
Another facial you can get is cool lifting, which sends a flow of Co2 at a very low temperature to help moisturize and regenerate the skin’s texture. The treatment lasts just 30 minutes and you’ll notice the effects for about a week and a half.
If you’d rather go for some more classic facials, that’s an option too. I’d recommend getting a hydrafacial or deep facial cleansing. Both these facials last an hour and help deep clean your pores.
Regardless of which you pick, the service is great. Plus, it’s in the middle of one of Medellin’s malls so it’s super convenient, too.
