TLDR? Bad Bunny is coming to Medellin in November 2022 and will be playing sets from his latest album.
The World’s Hottest Tour is the name of Benito Antonio Martinez’ (known worldwide as Bad Bunny) 2022 reggaeton tour.
At 28 years old, the Puerto Rican will be on his first tour throughout the American continent, with 43 concerts scheduled to date, two of which will be held in the city of Medellin.
If you’re ready to break out the dance moves and start nodding your head to his songs at this concert, I’ve got your back. Here’s everything you should know about this concert.
Medellín is famous for producing some of the world’s best reggaeton artists. Additionally, many international artists have properties in El Poblado!
Worldwide known artists like Maluma, Karol G and J Balvin, among others, began their careers fame in the city of Paisas.
This is one of the reasons why Bad Bunny decided to have this city on the tour’s destination list. Considering how fast the tickets sold out, this wasn’t a bad move, either!
What’s ore, the renowned artist is now about to make his debut as an actor along with no other than Brad Pitt in a new movie called Bullet Train.
Bad Bunny has scheduled three concert dates in Colombia. One show will be held in Bogotá, the country’s capital, and another two will take place in Medellín in November.
The concerts will take place at the well-known Atanasio Girardot Stadium on November 18th and 19th, 2022.
Tickets are no longer available for purchase on the Tuboleta page, which is the organization officially in charge of physical and online sale for most concerts in Colombia. However, you can often find tickets on Mercadolibre and other Craigslist-esque sites.
Initially Bad Bunny only announced these two dates in Medellín, but fans asked for a third date in Bogotá which is why this last concert is on the calendar.
In both cities, tickets were sold out in the first 24 hours.
Prices ranged between $200,000 COP and $22,000,000 COP; Colombia is always willing to pay good money for good entertainment.
When you go to a concert, there are a couple of rules and regulations to be aware of. Although there aren’t a ton of them, there are a couple of things you need to know.
Here are the current rules surrounding the Bad Bunny concerts in Medellin.
The concert is exclusively for adults. There are no exclusive locations for minors. If you made a ticket purchase for a minor, they will not be able to enter the concert.
The concert is also not offering refunds, so make sure to double check for this before you book your tickets.
One of the most important requirements to enter the concert is to have vaccination card or digital certificate that proves that you’ve been vaccinated against Covid-19. If you don’t have this on hand, you won’t be allowed into the venue.
The well-known soccer stadium in the city of Medellin intends to make itself more available to the public by not only host ingsporting events, but also hosting cultural events.
This is why it’ll be the host of Bad Bunny’s two scheduled concerts in Antioquia.
The renowned stadium is located in Laureles, one of the most famous neighborhoods in Medellín and one of the foreigner’s favorites.
Usually, depending on the stadium, balcony names are determined by the organizers.
In this case, the Atanasio Girardot Stadium has allowed the Puerto Rican artist to give some peculiar names to the palcos, or balconies (the most expensive areas of the concert).
The balconies have names like La Playa, Dakiti, La Noche de Anoche, and others, honoring some of his most famous songs.
The other choice of seating are the bleachers, which are the farthest from the stage. But, they’re also a lot cheaper than a balcony seat!
