Hacienda Fizebad is a country club located in the municipality of El Retiro, about 90 minutes from Medellín.

This place is one of the most popular wedding venues around the city, thanks to the luxurious setting and top-quality meals. In fact, many well-known celebrities have said “I do” at this venue!

The facilities of Fizebad have a rustic, traditional style. There’s a colonial chapel where you can tie the knot. 

Then, venture out into the gorgeous flower gardens for photos and cocktails before sitting down to a delicious meal and dancing the night away!

What’s cool about this place is that there are actually 4 different event rooms for you to pick from, each holding up to about 100 guests.

Aguas Claras 

Aguas Claras is a farm for country events in the town of Girardota, a small vilalge on the outskirts of Medellín.

This farm offers a “360” service that basically holds your hand from the time you book the venue up until your big day. The staff here takes care of the smallest details, handling your decorations, planning the event, taking care of protocol, and even helping you pick out your dress.

If you’re wanting an all-inclusive package that takes the work out of getting married, this is definitely the place for you. 

Aguas Claras has a small chapel where you can hold a traditional wedding ceremony. Or, if you’d rather elope or have a vow renewal, they can help you with that too. 

There are a couple of different spaces for you to choose from at this venue, including a poolside patio and a huge ballroom. You can do cocktails in one and then move inside for the party afterward!

Cariva Eventos 

Most of us are familiar with Santa Elena, a town 25 minutes from Medellín, thanks to its flower gardens. 

However, Santa Elena isn’t just the birthplace of Medellin’s Flower Festival; It’s also home to Cariva Eventos, a stunning country wedding venue. 

Cariva Eventos is a forested area that offers outdoor weddings under a stunning, hand-made wedding arch. The chairs are rustic and are all provided as part of your ceremony. Plus, you can get gorgeous lanterns and candles to decorate the place with. 

As with most wedding venues around Medellin, everything is included in your package. In fact, you actually get your own wedding planner as part of the deal, so if you’re navigating a wedding in a foreign country, you can put the hard work in someone else’s hands. 

If you’re worried about rain, don’t be. You can request to have a tent put up over the space, which is perfect for rainy weather or super hot days. 

Aside from the outdoor area for your ceremony, you’ll also find a bridal suite for getting ready. It’s the perfect place to prep for your big day!

Palau

Palau is located in Loma del Escobero, Envigado, which means it’s actually pretty close to some of Casacol’s Poblado rentals!

This is a super-modern building with gorgeous, floor-to-ceiling glass windows. You’ll get to watch the twinkling lights of the city as you swirl around the dance floor. 

Palau also offers meal packages, so that you don’t have to worry about finding your own catering. And, they can help you out with decorations packages. 

The venue is big enough to hold 180 guests, and there are 60 private parking spots there as well. If you’ve got a lot of people coming, this is probably a good pick. 

The venue comes with all the lighting and a bridal suite for you and your partner to get ready in. Plus, there’s a big outdoor deck if you want to take the party outside!

In typical Colombian fashion, the full-day rentals let you have the place until 2 am the next day. That’s perfect for keeping the party going!
